Born on September 14, 1991, in Connersville, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph Counceller and Michelle Pierce Counceller. Her passing has left family, friends, and the wider community in deep sorrow as they remember a life defined by compassion, creativity, and devotion to those she loved.
Sarah grew up in Connersville and graduated from Connersville Senior High School in 2010. From an early age, she showed determination and talent, particularly as a gymnast, earning recognition and medals throughout her youth. Those who knew her during her school years remember her as energetic, focused, and full of potential, with a natural warmth that made her easy to connect with.

In her adult life, Sarah worked in a variety of roles that reflected her caring personality. She spent time working at Showtime Cinema Movie Theater before transitioning into waitressing and home health care—work that allowed her to directly support and care for others. Through her professional journey, she formed meaningful relationships, including a close bond with Linda and Bobby Crabtree, who became like family to her. Following Linda’s passing, Bobby remained a steady presence in her life, honoring a promise to continue looking out for her.
