Moose Lake RCMP are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl who was found inside a residence on Stagg Crescent in Mosakahiken Cree Nation early Tuesday morning. Authorities have confirmed that the case is being treated as a homicide.
According to RCMP, officers were called to the home at approximately 4:15 a.m. on May 12, 2026, following a report of an injured person inside the residence. When police arrived, they located the teenage girl inside the home. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. Loved ones have identified her as Yk Jenae.
